Certainly not  just a collection of old photographs

HISTORY  - Some might attempt to convince others to believe and certainly not to be stored away in old box's and albums out of sight to members other than on display maybe once a year or on a CD that someone is selling for personal gain. As anyone who has ever studied history knows that when you opened your textbook there was certainly more than a book filled with photos. The book most likely contained much more information than a few photos. Most likely stories of the times and the places.

This idea is an indication of the under motivated, under inspired and under imaginative approach to the very important responsibility of office. The task requires all of the above and does NOT depend nor expect others to do the job for them simply by offering photos from others. A very important and time consuming responsibility. There is actually a lot of time and hard work required to collect, verify, and prepare to place online. One can only assume this is why such a permanent document is absent on the club web page.

So much club pride and tradition is lost when it's history is unknown or hidden out of sight of all.

Your clubs history is important.
If not to you then think of
 those that will follow.

So much of club history has already been lost due to the passage of time, poor record keeping and a near total lack of knowledge by newer members that have no idea of the CTCC real history is or what the club has amassed in property and club history. Most have no idea what is involved and just how difficult it is but someone must do the job even if those that are responsible will not do it yet villainize those that volunteer to do their job for them.

What other web site is willing to do the work required to assure that ALL club history is placed online to provide the genuine history makers a venue to preserve their contributions in club history?

To many or maybe even most of this may be a difficult concept to comprehend. Some just may not care and those that do are scorned or offer little to correct it.

Everyone has referenced a history book. Did the pages contain only photos? Of course not. History is a collection on the founding fathers documents, stories of the beginning, what it was like way back when, i.e. When events were conducted on the public thoroughfares of Waco and the shenanigans that took place. A colorful time to say the very least. A treasure-trove of stories to especially by some of the earlier members, to be handed down by others if only they were the least bit motivated to do so.

Some do not comprehend the importance of collecting, maintaining and the making available to all to enjoy that collection of articles, stories, events, important awards, etc.

Note - When volunteering photos make certain it is understood that the photo is for club use only or if it is ever to be used for profit and if so who profits. If for profit then permissions are to be granted by photo owner to prevent copy right infringements.

How is wisdom related to aging? While many people associate wisdom with advanced age, becoming wise clearly requires more than "just" growing old.
Conventional thinking suggest that the older one becomes the wiser they get, however never is heard of gaining more energetic.
How is this working out for CTCC?
