First Lady President Of CTCC

Simply stated there are not enough good words to say about Lari.
If you knew her you loved her and if you never had the fortune to meet her you missed a real life experience.
Although not the first lady club officer she was the first to successfully break the traditional male dominated presidential glass ceiling and was the first CTCC Lady President to help promote more lady Corvette involvement as well as help advance the club we enjoy today. One of the true club pioneers.
After departing from CTCC Lari advanced within the NCCC ladies drag racing classes and claimed several ladies class NCCC class records. Unknown is whether or not any other lady with a current or a past CTCC membership has done the same or not.
Lari was forthright in thought. One never had to question what she thought of any situation. She was brutally honest and unafraid to shake the boat to achieve a goal. Just one of the many admirable traits that made her exceptional. Others included her love of family, generosity, sense of fairness, diligence, sense of competition, sense of humor, her infectious laugh and oh so many other things to love of her.
Perhaps one day the club will find it within their hearts to in some way commemorate this outstanding lady and pioneer that she was in breaking the all male Presidential molds. It is wished that she be REMEMBERED for all that she did to promote the club, the car and club ladies.
We were very blessed to have had her in our club and our lives. R.I.P.
